（中央社記者姜遠珍首爾12日專電）正率團在南韓評估中東呼吸症候群（MERS）疫情防控措施的世界衛生組織（WHO）助理總幹事福田敬二今天說，韓國政府採取了正確的因應措施，但要獲得成效還需幾週時間。
南韓聯合新聞通訊社報導，世衛組織負責保健安保及緊急對應事務的助理總幹事福田敬二（Keiji Fukuda）今天訪問1家位於京畿道水原市的衛生所，並在那裡與赴MERS疫情防控第一線視察的韓國總統朴槿惠會面。
福田敬二表示，MERS是很難控制的疾病，韓國發生的MERS疫情非常複雜，所以即使採取正確的措施，要獲得成效仍需要幾週的時間。
據報導，世衛組織考察團8日抵達南韓，9日起探訪出現MERS病例的醫院和隔離醫院，分析MERS發病原因和傳播特點。考察團將於13日上午召開記者會，公開最終的考察結果。1040612
